Work-from-home job: Voice-over artist

Voice-over artists read scripts for movies and shows, narrate audiobooks, act in radio commercials, and deliver many other voice-acting services. They use their voice to express the mood or emotion for the assignment, clearly enunciating words and timing their responses.

A job like this may require you to manipulate your voice to imitate multiple characters or use your natural voice. You can work from home with the right audio equipment to capture a clear sound.

This includes a quality microphone, headphones, audio editing software, acoustic insulation, and a computer to store the recording.

You’ll probably have to create a reel and comprehend this profession’s niches if you wish to succeed. You might also have to work with a talent agency or manager to book voice-over work.
