7. Pueblo, Colorado
Are you looking for a place where the cost of living is 9% lower than the state average and 4% lower than the national average? Then look no further, because Pueblo, Colorado, might be the ideal small town for you!
Tucked at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, Pueblo has tons of opportunities for hiking, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors. You’ll find that the cost of living here is quite reasonable, making it easy to manage housing and healthcare expenses. Just perfect, don’t you think?
You can stroll through the historic downtown area, check out local museums, and join in on fun community events, all while soaking in those gorgeous mountain views! With a friendly vibe, low crime rate, and plenty of recreational activities, Pueblo is a wonderful place to embrace retirement and enjoy life to the fullest. If I get bored with Apex, this is the small town I would consider moving to!

Nice. No here is a truth teller
I believe you too! That’s why I’m retiring to another country. Someone like me will have to face “SUNDOWN” towns which they will not display.
Could be the right towns , but the one I would consider if I was seriously thinking about moving would be in North Carolina. But I am not in the market in relocated or even moving.
They all look like big towns i live in a small town itβs about 18,000 to 20,000 now thatβs a small town.

Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of hard work due to no backup. Do you have any methods to stop hackers?
I lived in Texas for ten years. I would NEVER go back to live. Everywhere floods because they don’t really care about people there or honest planning or safety. The electrical grid is an absolute joke. Heaven help you if it’s a major hurricane or a 100-year flood that they seem to have now every 10 years. That or, if it snows, you are out of luck because the Texas Governor will tell all the statewide locals one BS line in the morning and then go on FOX at night and tell the national audience the opposite story. You’ll notice though when you get that Month end $17,000 electric bill because no one did any preventative maintenance for a decade or more! And Texans die there in large numbers because of this! That’s when the 75 dead Texans someone reported actually turns out to be closer to 3500 or more. Must have been an accounting error, right? Did I mention they have very strange to no oversite on building anything in Texas? Silly things like road drainage, sound abatement or parking for semi-large facilities next to small neighborhoods. It’s a horrible state to live in unless you live and breathe football. Then you have a gigantic multi-million-dollar high school football stadium, but they just cannot seem to afford to pay the teacher’s squat. The healthcare in Houston and Dallas isn’t bad if you don’t mind driving in traffic for hours to go 4-5 miles or 100-400 miles! Just factor in that pesky driving time once you move to those quaint small cities! But hey, what do I know? However, you don’t want to go for a ride with me anywhere around Texas, that’s what. The Governor, Lt. Governor and Senators are there to blow maximum smoke for that! If they’re not somewhere down in Cancun while you freeze your buns off and your home water pipes burst. But HEB is the absolute best place to shop because they are a GREAT caring Neighbor!
Yes preach at the altar truth be told Texas, Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee are a no go for me to many red hat buffons and 1st lady Trampa 34x felon 6x casino loser π’ lickers and high property taxes and insurance. I will die in big blue beautiful California on my 40 acre ranch in Perris that I bought for $390k now worth $2.2 million and 3 homes in Hesperia that I bought for $75k each in 2009 now worth $400k. Keep your bullshit uneducated radical Christian maga beliefs tornadoes πͺ, hurricane π, floods and lack of freedom.
From Tennessee. Glad it’s a no go. We dont want the blue haired nut cases here either.
