The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that average hourly earnings in transportation and warehousing stand at $32.57 per hour, making logistics one of the highest-paying seasonal sectors available.
While driver and warehouse positions require moderate physical stamina, many facilities hire dedicated retirees for organized dispatching, inventory counting, and administrative coordination that demand far less physical exertion.

There are a few things in schools for us to do. Be a school bus monitor for the special needs kids. You get paid for 3 hours but you only are on the bus for about an hour and half. You only job is to watch the kids. Average pay 15 to 20 bucks an hour. Paraprofessional is another thing you can do with a special education kids where you help them with their class work and be their aid for the school. It’s about 30,000.a year.
Why aren’t the jobs listed? Why are there countless Ads and No jobs listed?
All I want to see are these supposed jobs for retired seniors.
I would like to work one more year. I am currently working as a Special Education teacher in an out placement school in the Hartford area.
It is time for a change. Any suggestions?
