Seattle is a wonderful place to move to if you’re rich. However, if you’re anything like us, living on Social Security checks and a decent pension, you might want to reconsider moving there.

Seattle in retirement means struggling, especially since the rental prices average around $2,000 a month. Besides the high cost of living, the city’s weather is getting worse every year.

It’s raining nonstop, and the winters can be really dark and gloomy. Its residents generally grumble about the poor transportation system and horrendous traffic jams. If you love sunshine, then this is definitely one of the worst places you could move to!

  1. The only thing in this article thats true about Memphis is that it is a dangerous place. There are some outstanding hospitals in Memphis. Storms in Memphis are no worse than almost any southern city. Whoever wrote this article doesn’t like Memphis
