Jersey City, New Jersey

If you’ve been considering Jersey City as the next place to live during your retirement, you should know that price is definitely a significant limiting factor you need to take into consideration.

Believe it or not, the cost of living in New Jersey is above the national average. Besides, another reason why we added Jersey City as one of the “worst cities” to move to is that it doesn’t promote any kind of physical activity, in any shape or form.

On top of that, your health care is pretty much defined by how much you earn on a monthly basis, so for low-income retirees, this might not be the ideal way to get access to the best health care out there. Given all this, it’s really no wonder the entire state ranks so low on the list of retirement-friendly places.

  1. The only thing in this article thats true about Memphis is that it is a dangerous place. There are some outstanding hospitals in Memphis. Storms in Memphis are no worse than almost any southern city. Whoever wrote this article doesn’t like Memphis
