If you want to spend your golden years in a gorgeous place, look no further! These are the best small towns for retirees!

Many people dream of living in a gorgeous, frenzied, bustling city during adulthood. That’s probably due to the loads of career opportunities, the possibility of meeting people, and a booming economy, among others.

But some retirees prefer a more laid-back, chill environment during their golden years. I get it; I did the same thing. After years and years of living in the stunning New York City (which I love with all my heart), I talked to my husband, and we decided to settle down in a small town. We needed a break from the bustle and hustle of the Big Apple and moved to Apex, North Carolina.

If you’re looking for a quiet, nice, and warm place to call home, you’ve come to the right place. The key is choosing a place that fits all of your needs: healthcare, services, good stores, lovely communities, and entertainment options.

I’ve taken a look at 10 small towns that are perfect for retirees. They’re gorgeous and cozy, with more than 50,000 residents but fewer than 100,000. Could that be any better? Let’s take a look:

  2. Could be the right towns , but the one I would consider if I was seriously thinking about moving would be in North Carolina. But I am not in the market in relocated or even moving.
